- Score ranges from 0 – 15
(0 indicates complete inability to perform any functional activities in the assessment)
Advantages

- Valid comparisons of RMI scores between patient groups
Disadvantages
- Does not take into consideration increases in mobility achieved through environmental modifications, e.g. assistive devices or care takers
